The Expense of Fear

Let’s examine the force of fear, which is the heart of worry. What was Job’s experience relating to fear? Well, he lost everything he had in terrible ways because of fear. Children, wealth, health, all facets are affected by our dominant attitude of heart. Faith is believing the Father’s best and highest is being accomplished in our lives by embracing His word. But Job wasn’t as unfortunate as we, he didn’t have the word of God, as Job is the oldest book of our bible. Fear is giving the enemy inroads into our experience, and God has NOT giving us the spirit of fear. – I Timothy 1:7

Consider the sobering statement that Job affirms in Job 3:25, after such tremendous loss. ‘For the thing I greatly feared has come upon me, And what I dreaded has happened to me.’ ‘Satan only comes to steal, kill and destroy. Also consider the Master’s command in John 14:1, ‘Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me (His words).’No one is exempt from feeling fear, it’s apart of the human experience, but the intelligent response or irrational reaction is completely our individual responsibility. We declare the word of God in the face of death just as the Master did in Mark 4:39, ‘Then He (Jesus) arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, ‘Peace, be still!’ And the wind ceased and there was a great calm. ‘‭‭Mark‬ ‭4:39‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Nothing changez without faith-filled word spoken from a believing heart – nothing! ‘There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.’‭‭-1 John‬ ‭4:18‬ ‭NIV‬‬
